Experienced Associate Dentist
As strange as it sounds, I enjoyed going to my family dentist as a child. It may have been the prizes she gave me for having no cavities, the video games in the waiting room, or her actively listening to my updates on school, but I always looked forward to my biannual checkups. As I got older, I realized that this was not the case for most people. For most people, visiting the dentist is an anxiety-inducing chore. As an undergraduate student at UCLA, I returned to my family dentist to shadow her and quickly discovered my future profession. I also recognized the hard work and dedication that went into making her office such a welcoming environment for her patients. I knew not only that I wanted to be a dentist, but one that is dedicated to providing compassionate, gentle, and patient-focused care. I make it my priority to develop trust with my patients and educate them on their oral health.
Prior to dental school, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Cell Molecular Biology at Tulane University. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at USC and after dental school, I pursued advanced training through a general practice residency program at the Sepulveda Veterans Affairs Hospital treating medically compromised patients. At the VA, I provided comprehensive care to our veterans, including crowns, bridges, surgical placement, and restorations of implants, dentures, root canals, and oral surgery.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy playing tennis, spoiling my pet pug Yoda, and visiting my family’s noodle restaurant in Orange County.
